An employee:owned environmental consultancy is expanding its Oxfordshire team and is seeking an early:career Occupational Hygienist / Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Consultant.

The role
This is a practical, hands:on position where youll work closely with experienced consultants to develop both technical expertise and client:facing skills.
Key responsibilities include:

Conducting occupational exposure assessments (dusts, fibres, VOCs, gases and airborne contaminants)
*
Analysing monitoring data and producing clear technical reports
*
Supporting surveys such as noise monitoring and LEV assessments (training provided)
*
Assisting with client enquiries, quotations and business development
The role is primarily office:based with regular UK site work. Hybrid working is available following initial training.
What were looking for
Essential
*
Minimum 1 years experience in occupational/industrial hygiene
*
Experience monitoring airborne contaminants and noise
*
Strong technical reporting skills
*
Confident with Word and Excel
*
Ability to interpret and manage large datasets
*
Knowledge of COSHH, EH40 and MDHS guidance
*
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Desirable
*
BOHS membership
*
Relevant degree (Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science or similar)
*
Knowledge of IAQ frameworks (e.g. BREEAM)
*
LEV testing experience
*
Experience supporting quotations or commercial enquiries
*
Comfortable in client:facing situations
*
Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
