Job Description
3. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
4. Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
5. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
6. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
7. Supervise and mentor finance team members as required.
8. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
10. A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Audit background is highly desirable!
11. Extensive year end audit experience to be able to hit the ground running
12. Demonstrated experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector.
13. Management responsibilities in the past
14. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
15. The ability to work effectively in a temporary and fast-paced environment.
16. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
