Job Purpose: To lead and manage the quality assurance function across all M&E disciplines on a major residential construction project. The role ensures that mechanical, electrical, and public health installations meet project specifications, statutory regulations, and industry standards. The QA Manager (M&E) will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, compliant, and fully commissioned building services. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and coordinate inspection and testing procedures, including witnessing key tests (e.g., insulation resistance, commissioning). * Work closely with M&E contractors, consultants, and package leads to identify and rectify quality issues early. * Maintain and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all M&E packages; manage quality control documentation and ensure traceability. * Conduct site audits and inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout all phases of construction and commissioning. * Liaise with the main contractor’s QA/QC team and client-side representatives to ensure alignment on MEP quality expectations. * Support the M&E delivery and construction team * Report on M&E QA performance through dashboards, audits, and weekly quality summaries. Essential: * Experience in M&E construction quality management (M&E Not essential), ideally on high-density residential or mixed-use developments. * Proven background in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering * Experience managing QA/QC processes across multiple MEP contractors and subcontractors
