Due to continued growth across the East Midlands, our client is seeking an experienced Technical Coordinator to join their expanding Northern Technical Team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Technical, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of complete design packages ensuring drawings and detailed information are accurate, coherent and delivered on time.
Assist the wider regional team in achieving key performance targets.
Take ownership of one or more projects (depending on experience).
Undertake weekly site visits to provide technical support to site teams.
Ensure planning and building regulation conditions are resolved in a timely manner to achieve CMLs as programmed.
Work closely with the Sales team to provide accurate information and support legal matters.
Manage the flow of technical information to contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring construction teams are working from the latest data.
External: Consultants, Subcontractors, Third-Party Designers and Statutory Bodies.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Technical Assistant or Coordinator role.
IT literate – proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience using AutoCAD and preparing layouts.
Full UK driving licence.
Experience with Mac OS, Procore, and CSCS Card qualification (training provided if required).
