Client Engagement Associate, Value Creation - M&A & Transaction Solutions, (London, UK)

What the day will look like

The primary responsibility will be to act as the key conduit through which our clients access the whole of Aon. The role will consist of identifying new business opportunities, co-ordinate client proposals, drive the development of new solutions to benefit our financial sponsor clients and lead the client engagement through the execution of large, complex deals.

Duties will include:

* Coordinating responses to requests for proposal
* Guiding clients preparing to list on a stock exchange through the insurance implications of an IPO
* Developing new products and continuously enhancing existing insurance solutions to better serve the needs of our clients
* Project managing complex placements for sophisticated clients
* Enhancing and coordinating our pitch decks and maintaining a repository of pitching materials to support them
* Coordinating client engagement across Aon’s strategic initiatives
* Channelling internal Aon expertise/resources/solutions across various practices and geographies to meet client needs.
* Determining opportunities for cross-selling other Aon products, services, and solutions.
* Building and fostering client relationships.
* Enhance the consistency and quality of our client deliverables

You will quickly gain exposure to senior stakeholders at our clients and be responsible for coordinating insurance placements relating to capital markets events and leading the day to day interaction with the client through this process.

Be part of a dynamic and innovative team creating new solutions and pushing the boundaries of how insurance can facilitate and enhance returns for investment management clients.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

* General insurance experience, such as property & casualty insurance experience (broking or underwriting) across core or specialty insurance sectors OR experience of the Private Equity or Infrastructure investment industries
* Natural curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and identify new opportunities
* Clear communication, influencing and interpersonal skills across organisational levels
* Ability to work independently, handle contending tasks through effective prioritisation and delegation
* Track record of delivering the highest quality client deliverables (written and verbal)
* Report writing skills, specifically articulating complexity in a clear and concise manner
* Internal and external networking experience and abilities
