Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations & Events Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in reservations and events management.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Process reservations and manage event planning, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Front Office, to ensure seamless execution of events and meet customer needs.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, features, and hours of operation.
* Determine sales leads from reservations and follow up with the Sales team to convert into future business opportunities.
* Administer Groups, Conference & Events related reservations and blocks via Groups & Events Delphi FDC system, OnQ R&I/PM.
* Create accurate groups & events proposals in line with hotel requirements.
* Ensure BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) are created with accuracy and handed over to Operations teams for execution.
* Liaise with Operations teams to arrange event setups according to BEOs.
* Meet and greet conference contacts or organizers to check on their satisfaction and the setup of meeting rooms on the day of the event.
* Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds to support prospecting, conversion, and account management.
* Promote positive relationships with guests and employees.

Requirements
* Previous experience in the reservations/front office departments within the hotel industry.
* High level of IT proficiency.
* High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
