Responsibilities
1. Work as part of a team: Collaboration and teamwork are crucial in any childcare setting. As an apprentice, you'll work closely with other childcare professionals, including senior staff members.
2. Keep children safe: Ensuring the safety and well-being of children is the highest priority.
3. Support staff in daily routines: Childcare settings often have established routines for activities such as meal times, nap times, and play times.
4. Engage children in activities: Providing age-appropriate activities is essential in childcare.
5. Support children's learning: Childcare plays a significant role in supporting children's development and learning.

Training
Paragon Skills is a leading national apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organizations. They have some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry, with an Ofsted Grade 2 rating and an achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Learners are supported through a blended approach, with regular check-ins with a dedicated Personal Tutor. Your employer will allocate 20% of your working hours to your studies, maximizing your chances of achieving the highest grades. Upon completing this 12-month apprenticeship, you will have gained an Early Years Practitioner – Level 2 qualification.
