Be a part of our cost consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where you can oversee work for world-leading organizations across the public and private sectors.
At Mace, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals passionate about cost and commercial management. We seek to recruit an associate director with an MEP background who can provide full-cycle cost management services for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large and complex commissions within the public and private sector.

You will lead cost consultants to identify and implement opportunities to improve procedures, templates, and services.
You’ll need to have:
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, sustainability technology, and modern construction methods.
Experience in winning and delivering projects for private and public sector clients across multiple sectors.
Good knowledge of contracts, estimating, valuations, cost reporting, and financial modeling.
Effective negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
Digitally savvy, capable of building lasting client relationships and leading high-performing teams.
Possession of a cost consultancy practice and a desire to grow your career with Mace.
You’ll also have:
A degree in quantity surveying or cost management (or equivalent).
Professional membership such as MRICS/RICS or equivalent, with progression towards fellowship.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law, and contractual frameworks.
Leadership experience managing large, diverse teams.
Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations influence projects.
