Position Summary To provide dedicated Health and Safety support to the Washington Plant. Responsibilities: Maintain the Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standard including updating and implementing policies and procedures when required. Review and update the legal register as required. Manage the risk assessment process. Oversee first aid arrangements. Organise and deliver training. Update HSE Metrics. Write and issue reports as required. Write and issue Health and Safety briefings. Carry out regular safety audits and tours. Carry out Health and Safety and Environmental monitoring and assessments. Chair Health and Safety meetings and issue minutes. Coordinate accident and incident investigations including maintaining logs, statistics and ensuring actions are complete. Liaise with the HSE and other regulatory bodies as required. Develop and run Health and Safety initiatives. Manage PPE. Oversee Contractors procedures and permits to work. Any other duties commensurate with the position as and when required. What They’re Looking For: Qualified to a minimum of NEBOSH Diploma level. At least 5 years’ experience of Health, Safety and Environmental practice in a manufacturing environment. Experience as an Internal Auditor. Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential. Must have practical auditing experience of ISO 45001 and ISO14001. Come Join Our Client!
