Overview
MIG / TIG Coded Welder — Location: Newark
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts. Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
* Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials including mild steel and stainless steel
* Work from technical drawings and engineering specifications
* Ensure all welds meet quality and coding standards
* Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity
* Prepare materials and components prior to welding
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
* Support production teams to meet project deadlines
Requirements
* Previous experience as a MIG and TIG Welder
* CSCS Card
* Working at height
* Coded welding qualifications preferred
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Experience working within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
