Teacher with TLR (ALNCo)
Salary: Teachers Pay Scale + TLR2 £3,590
Hours: Full time - 32.5 Per week
Start Date: Summer term 2026
The Governing Body of Trealaw Primary is seeking to appoint a Class Teacher who will hold the ALNCo TLR, to work with our SLT and staff team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and committed ALNCo who is well-organised, caring and will go the extra mile to support pupils, parents and staff.
The successful candidate will:
1. Lead teaching and Learning within Progression Step 1
2. Promote and develop inclusive, high-quality learning and teaching throughout the school
3. Perform a key role on the SLT, reporting to them and the governors on progress and standards across the school of teaching and learning
4. Have shared accountability for the performance of all staff relating to and including the performance of all pupils across the school including vulnerable/ALN learners
5. Ensure that the identified learning needs of all pupils are provided for in the classroom
6. Develop and co-ordinate targeted programs of support for those pupils who need it
7. Demonstrate their own excellent classroom practice and commitment to high standards and expectations for all learners
8. Create an engaging learning environment
9. Be able to work as part of a successful team and manage other adults within the classroom
10. Be committed to raising standards
11. Have high expectations of themselves and of pupils
12. Be an excellent communicator.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a lesson observation which will be held on the 2nd February 2026. Formal interviews will be on the 10th February 2026.
