Role Overview We’re seeking a fully qualified Electrician with a focus on inspection and testing to deliver reliable, compliant, and efficient electrical services across commercial projects ranging from hotels, offices, and retail environments to bars, schools, and more. Key Responsibilities * Conduct initial and periodic inspection & testing in accordance with BS 7671 using 2391-qualified testing methods * Produce accurate Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and testing certifications * Implement planned preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical infrastructure (e.g., LV distribution, emergency lighting, LED systems, small power, data networks) * Maintain compliance and high safety standards in commercial settings, with a focus on energy efficiency and system longevity * Support project delivery from design through testing and certification, coordinating with relevant stakeholders * Manage job documentation and client communication, using online job management and reporting tools for responsive * Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols, including PPE requirements and site-specific guidelines Essential Qualifications & Skills * City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent qualification required * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical installation qualification * Demonstrated experience in commercial inspection & testing, including EICRs and remedial works * Strong communication, organisational, IT, and documentation skills * Valid UK driving licence Desirable Attributes * Knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., solar PV, EV charging) * Experience with job-management or CRM platforms supporting field reporting * Background in hospitality or similar sectors, where discretion and professionalism are valued
