About The Role
· Good level of English (writing, reading, listening).
· Confident in working across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Knowledge and Understanding of the Food Safety and Quality requirements of both the business and the customer.
· Ability to use own initiative.
· Reasonable level of understanding of Health and Safety.
· Self-organisation, motivation, planning, prioritizing and time management.
· The ideal candidate must have good levels of numeracy and literacy as well as being a hard-working and dedicated team member.
· MUST have stores experience.
Responsibilities & Requirements
· Working as part of a team you will be responsible for general duties within despatch.
· To load vehicles from upper bay using the powered pallet truck safely and with consideration for other staff within the vicinity.
· To pick customer orders in accordance with the picking sheet with accuracy and at a reasonable rate.
· To ensure roller shutter doors are closed when not in use and that any defects are reported to the shift Supervisor/Manager as and when they occur.
· To keep their work area clean and tidy in accordance with the companies clean as you go policy.
· To operate fork lift truck, (dependent on license), safely and with consideration for other staff within the vicinity as well as our neighbors.
· To adhere to the companies health & Safety policies as trained on Induction.
· To report any issues surrounding Food Safety and Health and Safety to the department Supervisor/Manager.
· Assist with reducing waste levels across factory.
· To carry out any other reasonable instructions requested by a Supervisor or Manager.
