Job Description

At Eni, we are looking for a Vendor Management Officer to join Liverpool Bay CCS in Northop. You will be responsible for managing the vendor management process and system, together with the related vendor database, based on specific ethical, commercial, financial, technical and quality requirements.


About Liverpool Bay CCS Limited

Liverpool Bay CCS Limited, a member of the Eni S.p.A. group, is the owner and operator of the Liverpool Bay Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Transportation and Storage (T&S) infrastructure. This project is a key component of the HyNet North West Industrial Cluster, aimed at reducing carbon emissions in the North West of England and North Wales. Liverpool Bay CCS Ltd works with hard-to-abate industries in the North West of England and North Wales, to transport captured CO₂ from various plants to safe and permanent storage beneath Liverpool Bay. The company is repurposing some of its existing infrastructure, including depleted reservoirs that have held natural gas for millions of years, to support economic growth in the region and help the UK achieve its Net Zero objectives. Main Responsibilities

* Manage the Vendor Management System in compliance with the company’s HQ model and best practices.
* Conduct local market intelligence activities.
* Manage multidisciplinary vendor qualifications.
* Update the vendor qualification status through periodic vendor analysis and feedback reports.
* Manage, update and maintain the Company Commodities Classification List.
* Manage external contractors and assist them in the vendor qualification process.
* Implement and properly follow all Eni Procurement procedures and policies.
* Assist the Procurement Department, including preliminary analysis of supplier capabilities, ECOFIN data and due diligence.
* Manage vendor feedback and subcontracting activities.
* Implement any other reasonable request from the Procurement Manager and the Compliance, Vendor Management and Reporting Coordinator.
* Ensure adherence to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures and standards.
* Comply fully with the Eni Code of Ethics and Law 231 principles.
* Participate in the IMT Emergency Response Rota.


Skills And Experience Required

* Educated to GCSE level or higher.
* Familiarity with PC software, including the MS Office Suite.
* Knowledge of SAP.
* Strong prioritisation skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in vendor management or procurement.
* Familiarity with ESP and VMS systems.
* Flexible and adaptable.
* Good organisational, problem‑solving and administrative skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
* Ability to perform under pressure and prioritise to meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail.
