Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s EBD Home
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom
Salary: £15.40 – £16.00 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider in High Wycombe. The Senior Residential Support Worker in this role will be responsible for leading a team, supporting therapeutic care, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery within a Children’s EBD Home in High Wycombe. Responsibilities
* Lead a team of support staff to deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child\'s needs
* Support the Service Manager in daily operational tasks to maintain high standards
* Act as a positive role model, fostering trusting relationships with children and colleagues
* Provide therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and positive development
* Maintain accurate documentation, including care plans, progress reports, and observations
Requirements
* Minimum of 12 months experience in a children’s residential setting, with knowledge of child-centred and therapeutic models
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Excellent communication skills, caring nature, flexibility, and resilience
