Our locally based client is looking for a reliable Warehouse Stock Assistant to join their busy team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help keep goods moving smoothly by receiving deliveries maintaining accurate stock levels in a clean, well-organised warehouse environment.
This is a Temp to Perm position with working hours of Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00pm, working 42.5 hours per week. Offering £12.71 per hour (equivalent of £28,089.10 per annum)
Duties of the Warehouse Stock Assistant:
* Receive incoming deliveries.
* Complete scanning sheets for goods in.
* Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products.
* Move products around the warehouse as required.
* Organise the warehouse.
* Measure and cut materials to size.
* Dispose of waste and scrap materials.
Candidate Profile:
* Good mathematical skills.
* Previous experience working within a busy warehouse/production environment.
* Comfortable with heavy lifting.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Work well as part of a team.
* A valid and transferable forklift licence is also required for this position
