Bloomberg's Broadway EMS Solution is at the leading edge of high-performance trade execution delivering innovative multi-asset solutions to SellSide clients including the top banks in the world. Combined with Bloomberg's Trade Order Management System (TOMS) Bloomberg provides fixed income sell-side firms the capabilities to efficiently manage inventory, risk, P&L, compliance, and straight-through processing. The enterprise suite of solutions includes electronic trading tools and market connectivity to help firms synchronize their front office risk and trading with middle-office, operations, and enterprise applications in real-time. What's the role? The Bloomberg Broadway Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new revenue and leading the sales process for our Fixed Income EMS solution to sell-side clients ranging from regional organizations to large global banks. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and converting existing pipelines into revenue by engaging potential customers and key decision makers. The sales specialist will understand the client's business objectives and gather the necessary business requirements to deliver customized sales presentations and demonstrations. You will be trusted to support brand awareness initiatives both internally within Bloomberg and externally; building key relationships with decision makers and be expected to maintain in-depth market knowledge, understand trends in the EMS space, and analyze the competitive landscape. Finally, you will manage the sales lifecycle from inception through completion, by working with various internal teams including the account managers, pre-sales specialists, professional services, and product teams. We will trust you to: Apply your strong product knowledge, technical skills, and market knowledge to generate revenue for Sell-Side EMS solutions Establish and implement a pipeline building strategy by developing key customer relationships with business and technical decision makers to maximize sales opportunities Develop an in-depth knowledge of regional business and competitor landscape including strengths, weaknesses and coverage Balance multiple engagements across the sales lifecycle to achieve targets Coordinate the full enterprise sales process across a variety of different business units in close collaboration with our OMS franchise TOMS and Risk (MARS) Engage with customers using a consultative approach to identify workflow gaps within the Sell-side value chain, and collaborate closely with pre-sales specialists Articulate the features and benefits of the products in detail, so that you can function as a partner for your customers Participate and lead sales presentations demonstrating functionality and workflows that address customer needs Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate, and address client needs You'll need to have: 5 years experience in financial services technology solutions sales where you have met or exceeded demanding targets Capital Markets knowledge with a strong understanding of sell-side Fixed Income dealing workflows and market structure Solid understanding of the trading technologies used in the capital markets industry Familiarity with low latency trading concepts Highly proactive approach and confidence in sales approach and strategy Exemplary presentation, training, and communication skills Project management and organizational skills Manage time effectively and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly growing team environment The ability for regular travel Secondary European language Does This Sound Like You?
