The Role
Our Home Care services empower older people to live at home independently and safely. You will provide individualised care tailored to the needs of each client and their families.
We have permanent part-time roles offering a minimum of 15 - 20 hours a fortnight and will cover a variety of shifts, so you must be available and flexible within the hours of 08.00 - 16.00 ideally. We require a minimum of 2 days availability; days and hours are negotiable based on our clients' requirements in and around Penrith, Nepean and Blue Mountains.
Your role will include:
* Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating
* Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments
* Social support & activities, including outings and social activities
* Personal care, showering, and bathing, general self-care duties
* Domestic assistance, light household cleaning
* Medication assistance
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support, or AIN qualifications
* Compassionate interpersonal skills and empathy with older people
* Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance
* Willingness to travel regularly using your own vehicle
* Reliable and trustworthy – our clients depend on you
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Proven experience in Aged Care or NDIS services
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently and remotely in clients’ homes and communities
