Main Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer
* Carry out fault finding, diagnosis and mechanical repairs
* Support planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules and budgets
* Improve plant reliability and maximize equipment uptime
* Assist with installation, servicing and adjustment of mechanical components
* Conduct daily inspections and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns
* Maintain accurate maintenance records in line with company standards
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
* Background in mechanical fitting, automotive mechanics, or agricultural engineering
* Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
* Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced industrial environment
* Ability to work night shifts as part of a team
* Willingness to develop skills through training and upskilling
* Experience in industrial maintenance is advantageous but not essential
