This role provides excellent practical experience for anyone looking to pursue a long-term career within education, mental health support, therapy, or SEND provision.
You will play an important role supporting children who may require additional support within the classroom.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, and behavioural needs
* Working on a 1:1 basis and within small intervention groups
* Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional regulation
* Assisting with classroom learning activities
* Helping pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons
* Collaborating with teaching staff and SEND teams
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds a Child Psychology or Psychology-related degree
* Is passionate about child development and education
* Has a nurturing and supportive approach
* Can remain calm and positive in challenging situations
* Wants to gain valuable experience within schools
* Is interested in future careers such as Educational Psychology, Therapy, Teaching, or SENDCO roles
