Role Overview
As part of the Clinical & Business Team, you will provide 2nd line application support for over 40 clinical applications, including PAS, Maxims, Dragon, and Smartcards. The role involves supporting the transition to eCare, troubleshooting user issues, liaising with third‑party suppliers, and configuring software. You will also safeguard patient data, ensuring GDPR compliance and correct user access levels.
Responsibilities
* Respond to user support incidents, resolving issues or escalating to higher support levels.
* Diagnose and resolve errors across multiple clinical applications.
* Liaise with third‑party suppliers for configuration and maintenance tasks.
* Configure software and maintain system settings as required.
* Protect data integrity and enforce GDPR guidelines, ensuring appropriate access for users.
* Proactively support the rollout of eCare and related system upgrades.
Qualifications
* Good general understanding of technology.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* Excellent customer care and communication skills.
* Experience using NHS clinical applications.
* Avid learner with strong problem‑solving skills.
* Capacity to work independently and manage support calls.
