My client, a leading aerospace organisation, is hiring for a reputable company in Kidlington, Oxfordshire to join their Customisation Centre as an Installation and Production Manager.
In this key role, you will lead the Production and Installation teams, ensuring all bespoke aircraft completions and installations meet strict regulatory and quality standards. You will also serve as the nominated CAA Form 4 Production Manager for the Part 21G approval, playing a vital part in maintaining safety and operational excellence.
What you'll be doing:
* Oversee daily operations of the Installation and Production teams, ensuring smooth workflow and resource planning.
* Manage workload and project schedules in collaboration with senior leadership.
* Conduct staff appraisals, identify training needs, and support professional development.
* Collaborate with design teams to resolve errors or omissions promptly.
* Ensure compliance with CAA Part 21G, ISO9001, and SMS standards.
* Maintain quality assurance, review production documentation, and manage budgets.
* Enforce health & safety policies, including PPE use and hangar rules.
What you'll bring:
* Proven leadership experience within an aviation production environment.
* Strong knowledge of CAA Part 21G, Part 145, and Part 21J approvals.
* Eligibility to hold a CAA Form 4 Production Manager role.
* Technical proficiency in Google Office, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
* Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
* A degree in management, plus leadership and human factors training.
* DBS security clearance and eligibility for SC clearance.
* Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
