We areseeking to optimise our established Cloud deployment, built onAzure, to provide an AI-augmented agile cloud platform thatresponds quickly to demand from service users, making it “easy todo business” with Ramsay – for patients, clinicians and partners.Working alongside colleagues in our “Digital & Technology”function, along with trusted partners in the infrastructure, data,integration, and AI spaces, you will have great opportunities tolead and shape the future ofRamsay.
Therole
As Cloud Architect, you willmaintain the cloud platform and the roadmaps of adding new cloudcapabilities and collaborate with the business on the adoption ofsolution designs servicing both clinical and technology areas usingcloud platform services andtools.
What you willdo
* Govern andmanage the cloud architecture for all existing and new servicesand/or platforms
* Design andbuild end-to-end cloudarchitectures.
* Reduce the“time to market” for business initiatives to providing digitaltechnology solutions based on native (Azure) commoditised cloudservices andcapabilities
* Understand andrecommend utilisation of cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS andSaaS) based on business requirements to simplify businessapplication architecture and operatingmodels.
Whatyou will bring
* Youwill be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the “Azurecloud adoption” and “Azure well-architected” frameworks and possessprior experience of scaled cloud migration datacentre exitprogrammes.
* Knowledge ofarchitecture models, principles and standards (TOGAF, Zachman),project management (waterfall, agile) and service management (ITIL)lifecycle is essential however Azure cloud certification andexposure to cloud providers (AWS, Azure), service models, diversetechnical configurations, technologies and cloud platform servicesis preferred.
* Experiencewith the following is highlydesirable:
o Infrastructure asCode (Bicep), CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Version Control (Git),Scripting (PowerShell, and Azure CLI), and Automation(PowerAutomate).
o Entra IDuser accounts, groups, app registrations, single sign-on, managedidentities, role-based access control, connect, B2B sync, andmulti-tenant management.
o Huband spoke virtual network topologies, virtual WAN, secured hubswith Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN, and Network VirtualAppliances (MerakiSD-WAN).
o Front Door and WebApplication Firewall, including custom domains and DNS, origingroups, origins, compression, caching, log inspection, andexception management.
o AppServices (Web, API, Container, Function, Logic, Static), APIManagement, Service Bus, Databases (SQL, MySQL), Key Vault, StorageAccount, and ApplicationInsights.
o Data Factory,Databricks (Unity Catalog, SCIM Provisioning, Permissions, DeltaSharing, multi-workspace management), Storage Account (Data Lake),and PowerBI.
o VirtualMachines, Bastion, Flow Logging, Log Analytics Workspaces, EventHub, Diagnostic settings, Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and PrivateEndpoints.
o Azure AIServices.
