The Role
Role Responsibilities
We seek an Associate Solicitor to join our Abuse Team, representing survivors of sexual abuse with compassion and determination.
The role includes:
* Collaborating with partners and senior associates to maintain high standards.
* Leading teams of paralegals and data analysts to progress client claims in bulk.
* Preparing correspondence and reviewing documents for court submissions.
* Resolving data issues during client information collation.
* Building relationships with stakeholders to manage cases effectively.
* Conducting legal research, drafting, and reviewing case documentation.
Person Specification
* Qualified solicitor with experience in Personal Injury, Serious Injury, or Catastrophic Injury.
* Experience with sensitive and complex cases, especially involving sexual abuse, is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to review and report on medical forms.
* Commercially aware and knowledgeable of legal and business issues.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Client-focused approach.
* Self-motivated, capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience supervising trainees or paralegals.
* Proactive, responsible, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
* Adaptable to new issues, with logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
