Bookkeeper / Administrator – Manufacturing Sector
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (Full-time, Permanent)

A well-established manufacturer of bespoke, high-end products is seeking a confident and capable Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for someone who is resilient, detail-oriented, and experienced in the manufacturing sector. You'll play a key part in managing the day-to-day financials and ensuring smooth administrative operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks)

Process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments
*
Reconcile accounts and manage petty cash/expenses
*
Support payroll administration and HR documentation
*
General administrative duties supporting the wider team
*
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
*
Travel between sites or to suppliers when required (must drive)
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in bookkeeping and administration within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
*
A strong, no-nonsense attitude – confident working in a practical, busy setting
*
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Comfortable using Excel and cloud-based accounting software
*
Full UK driving licence required
