Job Function:
Working with the Showroom Sales Team to drive walk-in sales and promote the Tuckwell brand by gaining industry knowledge and creating and maintaining an appealing showroom environment.
42.5 hours per week, working every other Saturday morning on a rota basis.
Essential Duties:
* With support from the team:
o Learn to facilitate and drive walk-in sales by giving advice on equipment options and suitability.
o Prepare machinery specifications and pricing quotations.
o Provide excellent customer experience in the showroom.
o Execute all sales process steps to achieve high sales performance using available sales tools.
o Gain and maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment, including accessories, and attend relevant sales training events.
o Assist with local and regional shows and events.
o Be aware of competitor activity and products, and communicate insights to sales management.
o Work with relevant teams to ensure goods delivery, demonstrations, and follow-ups are carried out as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent customer service delivered with a friendly and professional attitude.
* Turf industry knowledge or an interest in the industry is advantageous.
* Understanding of how to promote and handle web sales.
* Experience in driving seasonal promotions, advertising, and maintaining showroom pricing.
* Interest in developing showroom layouts and seasonal displays.
* Excellent attention to detail for accurately arranging deliveries and demonstrations.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems to log enquiries, opportunities, and contacts.
* Keen to learn and develop professionally.
