We are looking for a confidentSupport Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity.
You’ll be working full time, 42 hours per week (12 hour shifts - days only)making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Elston House.
Shift PatternWeek 1: Monday, Thursday and FridayWeek 2: Tuesday Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
Elston Houseis a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, who may also present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.
Your Day-to-Day…• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required• Safeguard• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all/>You are…• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives• An excellent communicator and a good team player• Sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment• Helping to empower & support service user independence.Why Cygnet?
