As a member of our clinical team, you will have a varied caseload depending on your skills and experience. You will care for clients on a home visit basis, working one-to-one in a calm, secure environment.
Main duties of the job
What do we need from you?
We are seeking high-quality, dynamic, and experienced Learning Disability Support Workers who have worked with children with mental health conditions. Experience supporting children or young adults with learning disabilities, ADHD, and ASD is desirable. This position is in Tiptree, Essex, and is part-time, requiring some additional hours.
Hours Available:
* 8 hours per day (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 12pm to 8pm)
You should be an experienced SEN support worker capable of assisting with homework and therapy activities as part of personal development.
Requirements:
* UK driving licence and access to a car
Qualifications:
* At least 1 year of experience as a Mental Health Support Worker
* At least 1 year of experience as a SEN Support Worker
* Flexibility, maturity, independence, and high professional standards
* Commitment to client-specific care
* Adaptability to support clients and families effectively
* Ability to maintain professional boundaries in a home setting

Key accountabilities include supporting individuals' care, adhering to policies, maintaining records, enabling community access, supporting families, ensuring confidentiality, communicating effectively, maintaining clinical skills, developing community links, promoting evidence-based practice, attending team meetings, and participating in professional development.
Additional duties include promoting quality and safety, safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
Internal and external communication is vital, involving stakeholders, team members, agencies, clients, and community services.
