Are you a highly experienced and skilled psychologist? Are you passionate about improving mental health services for children and young people? Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to clinically lead a developing service? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a counselling/clinical psychologist to join our CAMHS Learning Disability team in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership across both counties, with clinical work delivered in Worcestershire. You will be highly skilled and experienced in delivering and developing an evidence-based therapeutic service, with a record of being a compassionate and inclusive leader.
No two days will be the same, so flexibility, problem solving skills and a desire to make a difference are all vital for this role. You will provide clinical supervision to the CAMHS LD Team and in turn will receive support from the most senior psychology leads in the Trust. This is a part time role working 30 hours per week.
Main duties of the job

You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the service is resilient and sustainable, with a well-supported team delivering evidence-based interventions. Your leadership style will be based around compassion and inclusivity; you will encourage this in the staff you clinically supervise. You will sympathetically and efficiently manage escalations and will keep patient, family and staff wellbeing at the heart of what you do.
