The Vacancy
What is the role
To support the Buyer to source, develop, buy and deliver a specific range of products at the right time
What you will do
1. Manages key administrative duties for the Buying team from product concept to finished bought product.
2. Clearly and effectively communicates with all suppliers and internal departments in line with critical path
3. Manages order raising process as and when required with buyer’s approval.
4. Manages sample process and organisation for the department in a timely fashion.
5. Manages sample sealing process working closely with garment tech team to meet critical path requirements.
6. Manages garment approval process to achieve a commercial, saleable product.
7. Thoughtfully contributes towards the input of all meeting preparation including Monday Trade & Product Sign Offs
8. Fulfil general ad hoc duties as required.
9. Deputising for buyer in buyer’s absence
10. Management of the critical path demonstrating proactive problem solving that meets deadlines.
11. Actively contributing to the product life cycle e.g., comp shops, pre-trip planning, range building, product briefings and lessons learnt etc.
12. Self-motivated clear understanding of market trends and customer profile and able to contribute knowledgeably to all meetings.
13. Regular store visits undertaken, findings presented back to relevant parties and actions follow through.

26. A relevant qualification at degree or equivalent level.
27. Experience working within a buying team environment, within a multiple brand retail preferable.
28. Effective communicator, presenter and team player.
29. Ability to adopt a flexible approach when required and to think swiftly.
30. Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise projects.
