* Location: Coatbridge
* Salary: Up to £34,400 per annum
* Hours: Full-Time, Permanent | 40 hours per week (08:00–16:30 Monday–Friday)

The Role
We invest in the North Lanarkshire community through long-term partnerships. You will help maintain and improve public buildings that serve children, families, and the community, ensuring these spaces are safe, functional, and welcoming.
Your Responsibilities
* Carrying out carpentry and joinery tasks in public facilities
* Installing, repairing, and maintaining doors, windows, suspended ceilings, etc.
* Specialist Ironmongery work including locks, handles, hinges, fire doors
* Responding to reactive maintenance and planned upgrades
* Providing courteous service during school or public hours
Role Criteria
* Proven Carpentry & Joinery experience
* Strong Ironmongery knowledge, including fire doors and access control
* Experience in public settings or social housing
* Full UK driving license
* Customer care skills and safety commitment
Additional Notes
All roles require entitlement to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship is offered. To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held a license for over 3 months, and have no more than 9 penalty points. Roles are subject to DBS/security checks.
