About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Sales & Account Manager to join our fast-growing Packaging team at our state-of-the-art head office in Tweedbank. This is a customer-facing B2B role focused on developing long-term relationships with UK retail clients, identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and coordinating internal teams to deliver high-quality, value-adding packaging solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Building and strengthening relationships with existing UK retail customers
• Acting as the first point of contact for assigned accounts
• Identifying customer needs, challenges and growth opportunities
• Promoting new products and sustainable packaging solutions
• Developing account plans, proposals and ROI-led solutions
• Coordinating with UK and international teams across sales, design, production and logistics
• Supporting pricing, quotations, contract renewals and forecasting
• Monitoring order progress and ensuring excellent service delivery
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales reports
How Success Is Measured
• Year-on-year revenue and margin growth within assigned accounts
• Customer retention, satisfaction and reduced escalations
• Creation and conversion of qualified sales opportunities
• Accurate forecasting, timely quotations and CRM data quality
• Effective collaboration and on-time delivery of customer solutions
The successful candidate will have the following:
• Good experience in a professional B2B sales or account management role
• Proven skills in relationship management, solution selling, negotiation and closing
• Experience in packaging, retail, sustainability or e-commerce is advantageous but not essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into customer value
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple accounts and projects
• Collaborative, energetic and detail-oriented, with a customer-first mindset
• Confident working with global teams and different cultures
Travel & Flexibility
This is a global role requiring flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally, with occasional out-of-hours working to support different time zones.
