Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting a SEMH school in their search for an inspirational and effective Tutor to deliver GCSE work on a 1:1 basis.
The provision provides high quality, innovative, alternative educational experience for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
This particular role will be supporting a Year 10 female student in the Wigan area, The tutoring will take place away from the main frame of school. The cross curricular work set will be supported and planned by teachers in school and the candidate to deliver the work.
Working hours: X3 days a week, 10.00am – 14.00pm.
Applicants must have:
* The confidence to deliver GCSE English and Maths level of work.
* Previous experience as a Tutor/ Teacher/ Cover Supervisor/ HLTA
* The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
* A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Two references including most recent employer
* Right to work in the UK
* A clear DBS on the Update Service
