Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Papworth Hall School – Cambridgeshire CB23 3RD
Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 3 days per week (days to be confirmed)
Contract: Permanent (Term time only)

The role:
* Deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs.
* Work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working to guide practice within an education setting.
* Hold a caseload of occupational therapy services with the support of a clinical supervisor and site lead.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Be a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

Location: Papworth Hall School – Cambridgeshire CB23 3RD – an independent specialist day school supporting children and young people aged 5‑16.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
* Valid and up-to-date HCPC registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experience in providing OT services within a similar setting preferred
* Experience with neurodivergent, learning difficulty and SEMH populations
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently
* Clear and concise report writing skills
* Full UK driving licence with access to a car
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed is preferable but not essential)
