Overview
Deliver ordered materials to job sites, manage delivery schedules, and ensure materials are handled safely. Load and unload materials carefully to prevent damage. Conduct pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Communicate with site managers prior to or during deliveries to confirm specifications and resolve any issues. Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies. Manage stock levels at the depot to minimize the amount of inventory on hand. Ensure the company's duty of care is upheld for all waste streams returned and/or generated at the depot.
Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work as part of our Logistics team as a reliable and skilled Multi-Drop Fuel Driver to join our dedicated team and support our operations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver ordered materials to job sites and manage delivery schedules.
* Load and unload materials carefully to prevent damage.
* Carry out pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
* Communicate with site managers prior to or during deliveries to confirm specifications and resolve issues.
* Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery notes and discrepancies.
* Manage depot stock levels to minimize excess inventory.
* Uphold the company’s duty of care for all waste streams returned and/or generated at the depot.
Qualifications
* A minimum of a Class 2 Licence
* A valid Driver CPC
* A clean driving record
* Strong communication skills
