About the Role
We are seeking a committed and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our Secondary Phase team. This is an exciting opportunity to support students’ learning by supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons, and ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will also provide support to teachers, administrative staff, and pastoral teams, contributing fully to the wider life of the academy.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage Secondary Phase classes during short-term teacher absence.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson content and respond to student questions.
* Promote student learning and engagement across different year groups and subjects.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and follow academy protocols consistently.
* Accurately register students and report on progress and behaviour.
* Provide administrative and pastoral support when not covering lessons.
* Contribute to enrichment activities and whole-school initiatives.
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times and model school values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
