The Role: We are urgently seeking Carers, Support Workers, and Children’s Care Assistants in Sevenoaks. As a care assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients in the local area. Key Details: Shifts: Night shifts available caring for one child client per shift. Schedule: Fixed rota with overtime options Essential Experience: All our team members receive a fully paid, comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients. This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as tracheostomy management and gastrostomy. Additionally, individual, client-focused training continues following the initial classroom induction. SHCPAE Responsibilities Assist with clinical interventions such as PEG feeds, seizure management Medication administration PEG feeding, Oral suctioning, Ventilation Epilepsy, Tracheostomy care (Preferred but not essential) Requirements Days or Nights Shifts Previous and recent care experience, involving personal care Full right to work within the UK Full UK driving license with access to a car Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week Benefits Choice of day, night and weekend shifts Blue light card - we’ll pay for it.
