About the role
As a registered Dispensing Optician, you will have responsibility for high-quality care for all patients seen by students and be expected to be competent and up-to-date in all areas of dispensing and adhere to policies and guidelines of professional practice outlined by GOC registration.
You will:
* Be expected to supervise dispensing clinics, which would include: dispensing, verification and adjustment of optical appliances.
* Will need to record each supervised clinical episode outcome with relevant feedback on
* You may be asked to examine GOC competencies and record the outcome and feedback on Pebblepad.

You will:
* Be a qualified Dispensing Optician
* Have a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience
* Be GOC registered
* Have excellent communication skills
* Be supportive, organised, and have a collaborative approach to clinical education
You must currently be registered with the following registration board: General Optical Council (GOC)
