About CSAS

This role improves the quality of life for the people of Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole by providing a service that tackles issues of anti‑social behaviour which have an adverse impact on our communities, ensuring a balanced approach to enforcement and support is taken.

As an officer accredited under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) you will be empowered to carry out patrols in specific areas to deter anti‑social behaviour through the use of limited powers, maintaining a highly visual and proactive service in the local area. A balanced approach is used to ensure enforcement action is taken when necessary and those who are vulnerable are signposted to support services.

We are looking to build on the core service we have been delivering across BCP with 1 full time (37 hours) officer focused in Christchurch Town Centre then also 1 full time (37 hours) and 1 part time (24 hours) officer within Bournemouth Town Centre. Please preference which positions you would be applying for in your application.

The salary for this position is a Band 6 (£30,024 - £33,143).

For an informal discussion please contact Luke Gilbert on luke.gilbert@bcpcouncil.gov.uk.

Please note, this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship and we can only consider applicants with existing right to work in the UK.
