Vetlife is a large veterinary practice with 29 clinics throughout the South Island, providing our customers with a friendly high quality service. Vetlife Wanaka is a large clinic, offering a full range of companion and production animal services to the surrounding community.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Wanaka team in a full time, permanent role.
About the role:
* Provide a high level of client service on farm working with production animals, including teat sealing, disbudding, calf weighing, heifer monitoring, blood sampling
* Administrative support including; data entry, report writing, work planning and booking
* Assisting vets on farm
* Working within the clinic team and hub clinics
About You:
* Have previous vet tech experience or experience working with production animals on farm and sound animal handling ability
* A recognised vet tech qualification would be an advantage
* Have the ability to work calmly and effectively and an eagerness to learn and contribute
* Able to work both independently and within a small team
* You will be confident working with computers and have an organised and methodical approach to your work
