Changing Futures North East is seeking a dedicated, reliable individual to provide excellent customer service to service users, partners, volunteers, and colleagues. The role involves administrative responsibilities supporting our Hartlepool office and Tees Valley-wide services.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, eager to learn, and patient in understanding the needs of service users. They should be attentive, resourceful in identifying solutions, and proactive in communication, both verbally and in writing. The role requires ensuring timely vetting of volunteers to minimize delays in support for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
1. Handling referrals for the charity’s services
2. Booking appointments for service users
3. Sending confirmations and related documentation
4. Updating systems promptly
5. Ensuring compliance with funders and contractors, such as the Legal Aid Agency
6. Answering calls, managing referrals, and handling inquiries
7. Adhering to safer recruitment procedures for volunteers
