Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum (depending on experience)

GSL Education is looking to appoint a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Grimsby.
Whether you’re an experienced Business Studies Teacher or an ECT looking to specialise in KS4 and KS5, this role offers a supportive and progressive environment for your career.
Responsibilities of the Business Studies Teacher:
* Teach engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations with strong subject knowledge and targeted strategies.
* Develop creative lesson plans that reflect real-world business applications.
* Support students in developing transferable skills such as analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
* Assess, track, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and interventions.
* Encourage and inspire students to pursue higher education or careers in business.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the department.
* Maintain high expectations of student behaviour, achievement, and classroom engagement.
Requirements for the Business Studies Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Business Studies or a related subject.
* Excellent subject knowledge, particularly for GCSE and A-Level content.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students to achieve their best.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and departmental collaboration.
