About The Post
Are you an organised and enthusiastic administrator looking to play a meaningful role in shaping the student experience? We are seeking a Student Journey Administrator to join the Registry Services Directorate at the University of Suffolk.
You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team delivering key services throughout the student lifecycle—from enrolment to graduation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the university's operations, helping to deliver essential services and improve processes that support every step of our students’ academic journey.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
In this varied and student-focused role, you will:
* Administer key student-facing processes such as Extenuating Circumstances and contribute to the management of Student Appeals, Complaints and Conduct.
* Provide accurate advice and timely communications to students and colleagues across the university.
* Support the planning and delivery of core events, including induction, registration and graduation.
* Assist with attendance monitoring and engagement interventions, including some activities at our London Centre.
* Collaborate with teams across the institution to enhance service delivery and ensure a seamless student experience.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and data quality initiatives.
* Ensure all activities comply with relevant data protection, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.

The Registry Services Directorate is central to delivering student administration and ensuring compliance with academic and regulatory requirements. * Organised and detail-oriented, with excellent administrative and IT skills.

* A great communicator, able to handle queries sensitively and escalate issues appropriately.
* Confident in working flexibly, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Relevant Knowledge:
* A Level 3 qualification or relevant professional experience (a HE qualification is desirable).
* A sound understanding of the student journey in higher education or a willingness to learn quickly.
