Customer Assistant - In Store Bakery - Milton Keynes. Friday-05.00-13.00. Under 18 disclaimer: This job role involves working early mornings and this means we can’t consider applications from anyone under the age of 18. Please note that the £3.00 p/h unsocial premium is only added on any hours worked between 22:00-06:00.

We\'re seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their knowledge of M&S Food products and are excited to share it with our customers. You\'ll be a brand ambassador who’s ready to recommend our newest Food products. Through remarkable service you\'ll make sure our customers feel truly valued every time they shop with us.
Working pattern
Week 1: Monday 05:00-13:00, Tuesday 05:00-13:00, Wednesday 05:00-13:00, Friday 05:00-13:00, Saturday 05:00-13:00.
Week 2: Sunday 06:00-14:00, Tuesday 05:00-13:00, Wednesday 05:00-13:00, Thursday 05:00-13:00, Friday 05:00-13:00.
There is an early-morning shift pattern and eligibility is restricted to applicants over 18 in line with health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
* Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked with product
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
* Receive training to utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time
