Whatyou’llbe doing The Professional Services Leader is pivotal to the smooth day-to-day running of both front and rear of house operations within the Chapel of Rest. The role provides operational support to the hub and deputises for the Operations Leader whenrequired. You will be a key point of contact for families, branches, Coroner services, and external agencies, ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism, compassion, and accuracy. The role contributes directly to our ambition to be recognised as the leading funeral service provider in the East of England. The person we are looking for Facilitating and overseeing family viewings with sensitivity and care Supporting the daily operation and presentation standards of the Chapel of Rest Managing communication and documentation with Coroner services Handling incoming calls and enquiries with empathy and professionalism Supporting branches and colleagues with operational and administrative guidance Maintainingaccuratedigital and physical records (including EFD) Overseeing and booking regional DTCs and supporting diary management Day-to-day accountability for Funeral Arrangers within the location, including attendance, expectations, and development Participating in the on-call rota whenrequired Perksof the job At the East of England Co-op, we strive to be the best place to work.
