The Role
My client is searching for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their offices based in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Manage a full caseload (90-120 files) with minimal supervision.
* Handle complex transactions: leasehold, re-mortgage, Transfer of Equity, Help to Buy, redemption, new builds, shared ownership, company purchases, and auctions.
* Sign off on other fee earners' files for exchange and review title reports.
* Achieve time recording and billing targets consistently.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior fee earners.
* Drive business development initiatives and lead process improvements within the department.
* Conduct regular file reviews to ensure compliance and quality.
Skills & Experience
* At least five years' experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload
* A strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service
* In-depth knowledge of complex transactions and legal principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
* A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach
