As a Finance Installments Controller, you will contribute to the delivery of Instalment Credit Management’s objectives and KPIs through the timely and effective performance of duties, maintaining standards, and building effective relationships.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You
* Undertakes instalment control activities, in accordance with defined processes, to ensure prompt premium payment and to achieve KPIs.
* Ensure instalment process and operational activities adhere to regulatory requirements.
* Handle internal and external customer queries professionally and efficiently.
* Build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
* Support effective collaboration between offshore and onshore teams.
* Maintain policies, procedures, workflows, and records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements.
* Accurately complete and maintain manual reports using Excel.
* Provide ad-hoc information as required by the business in a dynamic environment.
* Communicate effectively with the team and team leader to raise issues and provide solutions to system or process challenges.
Essential Skills
* Experience in customer-facing credit management, instalments, or regulated finance roles.
* Understanding of business and instalment processes and systems.
* Knowledge of credit management best practices.
* Up-to-date knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory rules, including FCA and banking regulations.
* Working knowledge of the BACS system, rules, and regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
* Ability to manage workload and priorities flexibly.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Results-oriented, data-driven, innovative, and adaptable to change.

Desirable Skills
* GCSEs or equivalent (Maths and English at grade C or above).
* CICM qualification or willingness to study towards it.
* Experience in data analysis and reporting is a plus.
