This is an exciting time to join our amazing team in Elderly Rehabilitation at Buckingham Community Hospital as we look to expand our nursing team. We welcome enthusiastic, caring and motivated individuals to join our team of multi-disciplinary professionals to provide dynamic, high quality, patient centred care to our service users.
This Band 5 role will require someone who really wants to develop themselves in a very supportive environment. You will need to be competent, caring, courageous, and compassionate, with the proven ability to work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care, maintaining a high standard of nursing care within the framework of Trust policies.
He/she will supervise qualified and unqualified staff including basic and/or post basic students, back to nursing students and health care assistants.
He/She will be expected to completed clinical audits and implement positive changes to the ward environment following any indications. They will be involved in quality assurance as well as improvement and will work with the senior nursing team to monitor safety and improvement.
He/She will work alongside members of the Multi disciplinary team to promote independence and support patients rehabilitation and goals.

11. First level NMC registration

12. Evidence of continuing Professional development (CPD) or willing to undertake further training
Exprience

13. Demonstrate some experience post or pre-registration placements in relevant clinical areas: Care of the Elderly Community Rehabilitation

14. Taking charge of ward/ nurse in charge
15. understanding of frailty
