SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS17 Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom Assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons Providing one-on-one support to pupils who require additional help Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of children Required Qualifications: Previous experience working with SEN children A valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: Experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning needs and styles Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual pupils Strong organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Training in safeguarding and child protection Working Conditions: Working hours may vary based on the needs of the school Occasional involvement in extracurricular activities or school events Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
