We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to supervise our production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all aspects of our production operations to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
* Annual Sales Turnover: Supervise a portfolio of products with an annual sales turnover of up to £2m.
* Team Leadership: Manage a team of up to 10 employees.
* Daily Operations: Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure production schedules are met and ensure products are manufactured efficiently.
* Quality Control: Ensure all finished goods meet established quality standards through inspection, documentation, and adherence to company procedures
* Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and drive staff empowerment and safety culture.
Requirements
* Level 4 qualification in a relevant field (six sigma, lean manufacturing, operations management).
* 5 years proven experience in production supervision, ideally in a related industry.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team.
* Proficient in production processes and quality control.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address production issues.
* Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
* Adaptability to changing production needs and priorities.
